What can I expect?
The tour begins with a visit to Vienna’s original skyscraper – the Hochhaus in Herrengasse. Right in the heart of Austria’s magnificent capital city, this architectural triumph, completed in 1932, provides extended views of Vienna. Your ascent to the very top of the building is EXCLUSIVE to Roof Top Tours! Oh, the photo opportunities!!!
The next stop, and only a short walk away, is “Stephansdom” (St. Stephen’s Cathedral). This imposing gothic structure is awe-inspiring from the ground, but this tour also takes you to the top! If one is feeling particularly energetic, he could take the 343 stairs… but we will use the elevator. That way, you can enjoy the spectacular views from the north tower, without having to catch your breath!
From the cathedral you will be guided to Heldenplatz (Heroes’ Square), which lies in front of the staggeringly splendid Hofburg Palace. Having seen Vienna, now you will get to taste it! Here you will enjoy three different wines from the Vienna region – Grüner Veltliner, Gemischter Satz, and Zweigelt. All of these varieties are specialties of Vienna’s wine growing region. This makes for a fitting end to an inspiring tour of the ever-spectacular Vienna!
